~not having to watch the clock trying to get Julia out the door with a healthy breakfast, a packed lunch, signed homework logs, and a decent hairdo (with 3 girls, that is a chunk of time itself).
Poor Bella is not an early breakfast eater but always wanted to eat with Julia before school. It will be much easier feeding them when they are hungry instead of by the clock.
~ Not having to also watch the clock at night to make sure they get a full night's sleep before the alarm goes off in the morning. Summer break means a lot more freedom and flexibility.
~getting up early with the sun (I really do) especially if that means a little time to myself. I am addicted to my daily iced coffee in the morning. I have mastered making it just like Starbucks and even bought a reusable cup with a reusable straw- there is something about drinking with a straw that just makes it better. :)
~flip flops and dresses! Julia's school has a dress code which meant polos, solid pants/shorts and closed toed shoes every day. I will be happy to pack it all away for the summer and get back to easy wardrobe choices.
~Watching the girls play together. Camille now wants to be wherever her sisters are. The older 2 often lock themselves in their room because that is where we keep the forbidden toys (like Legos) away from Camille. She follows them back to their room and waits patiently outside the door. She was all smiles when she got in and felt like a big girl. She is going to be so sad when they both go to school in August!
Happy Summer!
