Happy birthday dear Julia!

Julia turned 7 years old yesterday- I can't believe another year has flown by. She has been counting down the days to her special day and it finally arrived.

For her party, she wanted to go to a children's play (Sleeping Beauty) with her friends. So, we took 7 friends to the theater and came home for pizza and cupcakes . After her friends went home, we continued the party with just family (grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins). It was one of those wonderful, perfect days! The kids swam for hours and never tired out. I love seeing my kids with their cousins! We celebrated until that last minute of her birthday- the kids went to sleep at 11:55pm. Madison (our niece) also spent the night so the festivities continue today.

Crazy hair day

Julia and Bella are signed up for Vacation Bible School this week. VBS "Crazy Hair Day" is Wednesday and we don't have to look very far for our inspiration! Camille's mohawk gets higher every day! It's getting long enough where it *should* start falling over like regular hair but it's just growing higher and toward the back (like a giant wave!). Lovely.... :)

Julia is much more confident in the water thanks to a great instructor and being in the water with other kids her age. Bella has always been confident but needed a little help mastering the skills.
